6.30 -7.30pm Charleston - Open Level
The Charleston Its a fun, easy and uplifting dance. This Solo dancing course will have you moving with speed, vitality, and expression. With Jazz music from the 20's and beyond, learn
original Charleston dance steps and moves, improving your musicality and improvisation. You will learn the ABC of Authentic Jazz steps through short dance routines and practice your new steps and moves in a friendly dance circle and rhythm exercises.
7.30 - 8.30 Introduction to Partner Dancing : Swing & Jive – Open Level (Beginners welcome)
Partner dancing brings people together in a joyful social setting facilitating self-expression through movement. Learning and practicing leading and following skills, this course will give you enough cool moves for you to feel comfortable on the social dance floor, not only will make you enjoy exercise, and develop better consciousness of your body, but it will also stimulate your musicality and improvisation skills. No previous experience is needed to enjoy this course and you don’t need to bring a partner to attend this course as we rotate the participants.
Fee: £60 (each course) - via Bank Transfer or £65 (each course) cash on the first day (both courses £100)
